Well, Weird Wally has done it again. Through tireless effort he has managed to scrape up some vital information about the upcoming re-releases of the Star Wars Trilogy. Good luck finding such up-to-the-minute information anywhere else on the internet. Take a peek at this clip of the Mos Eisley Spaceport Scene. Thanks to the wonders of Digital Technology, a "Ronto" has been digitally superimposed over the original scene. |

| Unfortunately, Lucasfilm could only find one celluloid copy of the original scene--a clip from a Star Wars reel that has been playing continuously for the past 20 years, at Joe's Cinemaplex and Storm Door Repair, in Cleveland Ohio. (Notice the infamous reel-change cheerio in the upper-right-hand corner.) |
| You know it doesn't stop there. Not with Wally at the helm. Once again, through painstaking research, another gem has been uncovered. |

| Sometimes, the folks at ILM got a little over-zealous with their digital enhancment--like with this scene from the Death Star Battle. The new version of the scene is, well, a little BUSY. Rumor has it that, during the revised battle, the Death Star metering lights were on. |
