Weird Wally's Star Wars Page

Some sound files for you to download:
Well, Weird Wally has done it again.
Through tireless effort he has managed to scrape up some vital information about the upcoming re-releases of the Star Wars Trilogy. Good luck finding such up-to-the-minute information anywhere else on the internet.

Take a peek at this clip of the Mos Eisley Spaceport Scene. Thanks to the wonders of Digital Technology, a "Ronto" has been digitally superimposed over the original scene.

Mos Eisley Spaceport Scene
Unfortunately, Lucasfilm could only find one celluloid copy of the original scene--a clip from a Star Wars reel that has been playing continuously for the past 20 years, at Joe's Cinemaplex and Storm Door Repair, in Cleveland Ohio. (Notice the infamous reel-change cheerio in the upper-right-hand corner.)

You know it doesn't stop there. Not with Wally at the helm. Once again, through painstaking research, another gem has been uncovered.
Death Star Battle
Sometimes, the folks at ILM got a little over-zealous with their digital enhancment--like with this scene from the Death Star Battle. The new version of the scene is, well, a little BUSY. Rumor has it that, during the revised battle, the Death Star metering lights were on.
