SPECIAL THANKS

-THE KING OF 2001 FANS- These 2001 pages are devoted to DENNIS GONZALES, who through his tireless toil over the past bunch of months in coordinating the efforts and dreams of "Star Children" everywhere, raised 2001 consciousness for all of us.

-ROBERT EMMETT- Robert Emmett, of KFJC radio station, Foothill College, helped early on to publicize the year 2001 and the celebrations involved.

...with whom I spoke, on the air, in HALs voice!

-RAJI RAMAN- Also thanks to Raji Raman, who took some wood and paint, and made a seven-foot-tall black monolith- the same one I erected at the Trona Pinnacles.

-PARTICIPANTS IN THE TRONA EVENT- MY HEARTFELT THANKS to those who participated in the January 1, 2001 event in the Trona Pinnacles, a sunrise observance of Kubrick and Clarke's masterpiece...

THE MARCINIKS (of Greenmeadow Architects) for telling me about their yearly New Years Desert / Airstream trailer ritual and inviting me and my monolith.

THE DOWS... who transported my monolith on top of one of their land rovers, and myself on the way back, and provided constant guidance, communication, and Global Positioning to a potentially treacherous place.
